I live on an island off the coast of Maine. Lots of rich families have summer homes here, and they all sail and fit the stereotype perfectly, but at my high school there is a sailing team and none of the kids on that really dress that way. I have a boat myself and I sail with the summer kids. Besides the typical prep teen look, they wear brotanks, sperries, and chubbies.

I'm in high school and one of the few people who dresses like this, although many people here sail. There is a large community. Other than this sort of thing, the summer kids wear bro tanks and chubbies.
