I'm asking if they can be done right when you couple it with good construction, leathers, etc. And when the shoe is designed well.

Obviously the vast majority of bicycle toe shoes on the market look awful right now, because it's out of fashion at the moment. I'm asking if it CAN be cool, when done right.

but small-minded people like you will ridicule me for wondering about it because all the examples of bicycle stitch that you can think of are all shit shoes that use it to save money by using smaller pieces of leather

the ones I posted with it are ~$300 and made in New Zealand for the Japanese market. you know what my taste probably is; don't pretend you don't.

as for shoes that slip on, are you implying that plain toe slips are normal? IIRC, loafers generally use moccasin stitching
