Is it normal for 'lasted' trees to be very difficult to get in and out?

I own a few lasted trees from TLB and they've always been super easy to slide in and out.
I also own lasted boot trees for my col8 shell bonafes (pic related) and they are a little tighter but still easy to get in and out.
However on my Bonafe loafers it's not like that. I need to put a lot of strength to muscle them out, and when I put them in the heel struggles to get. I get that it's a loafer so there's no laces to undo but it doesn't seem right.

Why do you guys hate fudging?
I love fudging on the welt, when the grooves line up with the stitching

The more I wear them the more I like them.

First of all the 363mod last is probably the most comfy last I've tried so far.
The ridgeway sole is probably the best sole I've tried so far.

They were very flashy at first, but over time they have lost some of their shine (I am not brushing them except for dust removal) which makes them look much better.
Another thing that happened is on the first couple of wears, all the crease points developed a thin white film that stood out, apparently that's cordovan "blooming". This doesn't happen anymore and now they draw a lot less attention.

One other thing that stood out, my dog gets very happy when I come home. All my non-suede shoes get scratched very easily because he likes to jump. He stepped on these, I thought "oh fuck" and then I looked and there was literally nothing. Maybe corodvan is as sturdy as people say? idk
