Let's talk suits, cringey shit and fedoracore.

I've always loved the style of men in the past, especially suits around the 50's/60's, and I can't explain why but I feel there's just nothing quite like it, nowadays. Suits still exist and are worn, obviously, but they seem to always feel different in some way.

I rarely see any modern inspo with suits, or just coat & tie that doesn't look like it's going for some sort of "super rich douchebag" look. That or cringeworthy fedora shit. Relaxed, everyday, casual wearing of suits seems to have completely died out.

Is it just the cultural context that's changed (where I'm just picturing modern guys as *that guy* who dresses too casually everywhere but accepting that it was common fashion in older pictures), or has something really changed about suit design, presentation, etc, in the past 50 years? Is it still possible to emulate this older aesthetic & style without looking like an asshole?

(pic probably not the best example but first one I could find)
