I'm not that watchmaker, but yeah customers suck sometimes. you can find shops where the watchmaker doesn't interact with customers.

the work is cool. if you're mechanically inclined, it's pretty relaxing. a good mix of routine labor vs problem solving. the main issues with the work is that you're tied to big cities (which I guess could be good for some people) and you're sitting all day.
