>Style
Watered down avant-garde with a strong emphasis on a greyscale & earthtones colour palette.

People usually either say that I look classy or like a high end hobo, it depends on the context and actual outfit. I like the term of high end hobo to define my goal style.

2 things are important to actually get into fashion and to understand the way styles work :

- historical knowledge (knowing about fashion eras, waves and designers) and technical knowledge + knowing about the many different kinds of fabrics and processes)

- understanding of the fundamental rules applied to your own morphology (knowledge of sartorial, formal and smart-casual etiquette, understanding of the way proportions work and
application of that to your own wardrobe).

Once you get there, you do not need any further advice and you can start to bend the rules and to work towards a truly personal style.

Watch documentaries and read articles about fashion, read independent menswear and sartorial websites (it is essential that they are independent, otherwise they give biased advice - so forget about GQ and such), walk into high end stores to feel and try clothes without the intent to buy anything, etc. Also leave /fa/ for as long as you feel like you still have fundamental shit to learn, because otherwise this place will hold you back.
