Seiko Instruments does extensive functional finishing and hand adjustment on those movements rather than much in the way of decorative finishing. This has always been their preferred approach, all the way back to the 1960s as Daini Seikosha.

It's not as if there aren't some rather well known Swiss brands with similar philosophies, either.
