+fits literally any situation. Has a dressy art deco dial, yet its DNA is proto-Explorer. These were sent on expeditions to the North Pole.

+exquisite small rose dial, print quality of which destroys modern "luxury" brands
+34mm, perfect size to not get in the way yet not look tiny, totally unostentatious
+unique looking and reliable 390 movement, one of the first perpetual rotor designs
+Actually still waterproof if you maintain the seals, thanks to screw down crown. Sylvia Earle dives with her datejust
+has the only two actually essential complications, center seconds and automatic.
+Tudor so none of the obscene stigma of wearing a Rolex for attention, yet literally says Tudor Prince on the dial which is snobby as fuck.
+Worth under 1k so dont have to worry about it getting beat up or stolen
+vintage so its existence actually has meaning, unlike modern watches which are jewelry for men produced by cartels.
