You are correct, see pic. Jacket has some of the most unique cuts I've ever seen, billows out 3 dimensionally. The pants are actually popularly referred to as balloon pants too.

Yeah loops kinda look messy but I just did a shit job tying them. Loops can be pulled to look like a skirt / Hakama but doesn't look as good.

I just think people aren't used to seeing this type of silhouette, they just lack the reference point to understand it. Try looking at Comme Comme and Nemeth.
