I've been a fan of Jbrekkie since it was just Michell Zauner's solo project. The first thing I ever bought from bandcamp was her tape Big American Sound. It sounds awful because it was poorly recorded by hand. (IE,the gain was turned up too high.) Still, pretty cool that it was recorded by hand. She used to leave hand written thank you notes in stuff you ordered too. I kept all those notes in a box. I'm glad that's she's blown up and found some success. I hope she follows through with the more experimental direction she was thinking about with the next album.
