All new Speedmaster now come with the quick adjustment as standard.
I have mines ordered with the AD (£140ish) but they have changed it.

This was the post I was hoping for, thanks. It’s the vintage look I want and somewhat the collectability. The fact they were the less expensive was and added bonus and it hedged my rise a bit.

I’d love a 321 with an extract and maybe that is the best way to go and in years to come I know I will be happy with that choice. I will put 145.012 or 105.012 into my daily watch hunts.

I don’t have any watch makers in my local area I would trust with a vintage Speedmaster or anything of value. The only one I know and would try does not have a parts account.

Speedmaster101 YouTube was what started this idea of a vintage Speedmaster, I have watched everything, the info was excellent.

I’m leaning towards maybe the broad arrow or FOIS, I always liked the MKll’s and really love the dark side of the moons apollo 8 (would buy) but worry I’d chip the case as unlikely as that is to happen but I know Omega replacement price for a case is close to the price of the watch. I’ll learn more about 321 and 861 refs and not jump in and make mistakes but if the right one came along I could pull the trigger on it even after buying a few other speedys first, if that was not the case I’d go straight for the cal.321, thank you for the excellent reply and clarity.
