Stop projecting your own insecurities onto other people. Normies don't notice watches, even Rolexes, and I've never had a normie notice or comment on my watch. I wasn't wearing it much as my other vintage Seikos, and he was interested in it for the push button quickset feature. Plus he ended up wanting to sell his King Seiko 45-7001 as the long lug to lug on that watch meant it was a bit big for his wrist, and knowing the cosmetic and mechanical condition it was in I jumped at the chance to buy it. Pic related.

Independent watchmakers working out of their apartments seems to be a motif.

Got this on a Fluco shell cordovan strap in black today. The Fluco padded shell cordovan straps might be the best value for that type of strap on the market.
