Bois d'Argent is better. Dior Homme is too overtly sexy for the casual look.

Hedi's Bois d'Argent would be a more suitable choice for dark academia. The fragrance smells autumnal or has an autumnal filter. Smells elegant without being crass or tacky.

However, the real fragrance that matches dark academia is Dior's Bois d'Argent. The autumnal colours I sense when I smell it really matches the vibe. Men and women can both rock it.
