I was asking his opinion because he likes one line but not the other and was wondering what he thought of the models that combine both.

I was looking forward to a digital MRG Frogman but they went analog. The digital titanium model looks great but the module is useless to me since it lacks current time in all modes and it really should have had sapphire. I saved a bundle by not buying them but I feel G-Shock has been underwhelming the last couple of years and for their 40th anniversary. I don't know if it's the lackluster sales or something internal but I hope they are holding out on releasing some great models soon. The 35th anniversary hype and the titanium squares is only comparable to the GA-2100 hype but that was unpredictable. I don't even know if the economic climate exists for Casio to get to that level again. Seeing most models never selling out like they used to speaks volumes.
