Others are telling the truth, antique market is at unseen lows. I've been buying quality 18th-19th century Americana, European and even oriental for a 10th of what it would have cost 20 years ago, not to mention a 5th of what it would cost for new stuff. If you have a decent eye for decor and blend in modern and contemporary pieces, you can use alot of antiques and still have the space seem contemporary (as opposed to like a movie set)
