i was there when they were shooting the new season's stuff. it's done pretty swiftly. i don't think the model pics are necessarily bad, but quite a lot of the stuff looks so much better in person, because it's pretty difficult to capture the visual appeal in photograph. it's not sufficiently three dimensional, and doing campaign-style photography would be too difficult and expensive.
