I mean with regards to the black turtlenecks and wearing all black instead of the black-beige combo the Italians went for. Admittedly it looks very visually striking especially for a 21st century Englishman who doesn’t subscribe to their ideology. When I see people in all black it’s generally a 12ish year old pseudo-chavs wearing jogger bottoms and a hoodie who’ll run off as soon as you threaten to call his parents because he’s making a ruckus, not a ww1 veteran who’s actually trying to make himself presentable and looks like he’ll beat the shit out of you if you piss him off.
