i don't really care for novelty for its own sake. so many designers already cover a lot of the ground for you be reshowing the same pieces in different fabrications and layered in different ways. the (admittedly second hand, since i don't really browse) impression i've gotten sometimes is that sufu has some people who hate for the sake of it and justify it afterwards for any reason that comes to their mind; too close to the runway, no brand synergy, or whatever.

not that /fa/ is any better in that respect.
