I've got a bunch of interviews the next couple of months. Though I have a black suit already, it looks like the one in this picture to the left. Loose, ill-fitting. I'm thinking about getting a slim suit, but I dont know where to begin. What stores? What price range are we looking at for something decent? etc.

i have a nice BLACK suit jacket and pants to go with it.

the problem: the set's pants dont fit me very well (not nearly as bad as the dude on the left-not even close actually)

the alternative: i have very very dark midnight navy blue pants that fit VERY well, tailored and all that jazz

can i wear the black suit jacket with the navy pants, black jacket?

Without a tailor you will look equally shit in most things, except if you are skinny and the fit is shit you will look like a over-sized 12 year old boy, if you are /fit/ and it doesn't fit, you still look good to normal people because you are /fit/, fit matters a lot more when you have a shitty body

I'm looking to buy a single conservative looking suit that won't be worn very frequently. Interviews, more formal business transactions, etc. I didn't see anything about suits in the sticky, I apologize if it's there and I missed it.

-Fit is king.
-The suit should be 100% wool.
-Dark color.
-No pattern.

>What I'm planning on going with but could be wrong:
-Singled breasted, 3 buttons, 4 sleeve buttons, Notched lapel, Jetted pockets, Double vent.
-Not going to wear a belt, watch, or pocket square.
-Going to match sock color to suit color.
-Going to pair with blue tie.

>What I don't know:
-I'm Asian. My hair is always short and black. I'm ghostly pale in the winter but olive in the summer. Would black or grey(or charcoal? what's the difference?) compliment my skin/hair better? Even if black looks better, is it too formal?
-I've got a 44 inch chest with a 32 inch waist and 6'0" in height. Not sure if off the rack suits can be tailored down when the difference is that much.
-I have no idea how much a good suit should cost. Just to throw a ballpark figure for what I'm willing to spend, $1000 is the upper end. If the difference between a $500 and $1000 suit is minimal, I don't see the point of spending the extra money. On the other hand, if I have to spend more to get a quality suit, I'm ok with paying more. How much should I look to spend?
-American, English, or Italian cut?
-The big question: what stores sell quality suits? Alternatively, would I be better off just ordering something made to measure online?

That's still fitted though. If they were just baggy/oversized then the silhouettes wouldn't be as clear. These just drape funny.

Hey /fa/. So, as you probably know, Prom is coming up. It's my senior year, and I wanna do it right. I've lurked other Prom threads as well as read all the infopics on thefaggotstore about hot to wear a suit, see if its fits, colors, etc. But I don't know where to buy a suit! The cheaper the better, seeing as I probably won't wear it after Prom.
