If you get into watches, don't fall for the mechanical meme elitism. It's fun, but nothing special. Not really worth the money and service costs later on. Don't neglect quartz, it's huge fun too.

These are sometimes very cheap and bend very easy. I improvised and did all my watches with such a sewing needle. Used my pliers to shorten it and sandpaper to smoothen.
