Far from it, it has a 6246 movement, which is an improved version of the 6218, which is an improved version of 6206, which is an improved version of 400, and so on... Lots of incremental improvements over the years as you can see. It was the first automatic GS ever, it was right at the top at the time.

I was thinking about putting a display caseback on my Weekdater as well but unfortunately the rotor got quite wobbly at some point of it's existence and was rubbing against the caseback, so it isn't worthy of displaying anymore.
