Anyone here know how to remove leftover adhesive from a 100% polyester track jacket? Removed a patch and I couldn't fully remove it. Tried alcohol, and it helped a bit but couldn't quite remove everything.

Went to the dry cleaners and had it both dry cleaned and hand-washed, to no luck. The dry cleaners said gas (kerosene?) might be able to remove it. Anyone know alternatives? Is gas safe to use?
