Fascism is one of the most interesting ideologies ever made and it’s origin is extraordinary. Fascism is a blend of syndicalism, futurism, and nationalism. But it’s origins lie mainly with futurism. Fascism is an interesting ideology, created by a unique blend of artists, poets, soldiers, intellectuals, and revolutionaries who sought to end the weak state that Italy was in and usher in a new way forward, one where the totalitarian ideal would be realized. Totalitarianism in this sense doesn’t mean like an overbearing state, but rather it refers to a man and what he’s capable of. Fascism sought to create a new man, a man who was capable of everything; A soldier, an artist, a philosopher, a worker, and a poet. A man who encompassed the greatest virtues of society; A total man. As such, the fashion was meant to reflect this, with them wearing fashionable but disciplined clothing, a blend of their artistic and militarist origin
