So since this is a thread about fat people clothes, can I get some recommendations as to how I can improve this in the mean time while I lose weight?

I've already lowered the tie so that it reaches my belt buckle. I guess that's supposed to make me look a litter slimmer around the belly?

I've got this dinner/graduation thing happening soon because it's the end of my senior year here in Australia. The dress code is formal.

Is this okay to wear? Do you think it's too casual when probably ever other male will be wearing either a suit or a tuxedo?

How can I make myself look less obese?

Also, the colours may be a little hard to see in the picture, but the sports jacket (which is a thick-ish wool) is a dark navy colour.
