Are you seriously telling me that the silhouettes and ideas his menswear in the past few years have been pushing pale in comparison to the stiff silhouettes of his early tailoring? I asked for evidence and you haven't given me any, merely referencing a vague time period with no specific examples.

His menswear in my opinion has been phenomenal since 2007's fall collection, and there are very few collections apart from some standouts prior to that that have struck me in a major way.
