They are cool.

I rock gorka top and bottoms when i'm out hiking in the fall. The jacket is pretty comfy on its own for wearing around town.

Contrary to what some people claim... they are NOT waterproof and once drenched take a long time to dry. This can be mitigated a little if you treat it with Nikwax or one of those wax bars for extra water repellancy but a dedicated goretex shell will serve you much better if thats a concern for you
