>Didn't wash for 2 years
I do not understand this. If you want high contrast fades, you basically get a point of diminishing after 3 months. If you are refusing to wash your jeans after 3 months especially when wearing them daily, you have fallen for the retardation that is frequently found on reddit and denim forums.

I own a pair of Weird guys and multiple pairs of Iron Hearts including the 777 and the 888. In my opinion, IH makes slightly more durable denim in the overall market, but whether you will go with IH or N&F really depends your preference for the classic americana look of clean weaves (iron heart) or the traditional slubby, uneven texture of japanese denim (N&F). IH looks pretty goofy when they're brand new, but speaking from experience they comparatively end up looking way better over time if you're wearing them every day and washing them every 2 to 4 weeks so that the indigo starts to really liven up in a faster time period. In my opinion, going with a heavy weight (21 to 25 oz) pair of jeans with very even weaves is a better experience because as you start to wear in your jeans, the denim really starts to become surprisingly soft while retaining the comfort of wearing a heavy, durable piece of armor over your legs. This is typically not as pronounced with slubby denim due to its uneven weave pattern which tends to retain some level of "roughness" to the touch. Heavy weight denim also tends to hold creases better and form more vibrant fade patterns if thats something you are drawn towards.

One more thing. Really try to consider which fit you will realistically love more and more over time. The 777 is a slim tapered fit which can work out for guys who are really skinny, but if you have medium to large sized thighs, this is not going to be an enjoyable experience. A lot of guys will end up liking the 888 more due to the larger amount of leg room and crotch mobility while still having a perfect level of taper down to the ankles
