So at least there is a model of day date for lefties, but don't know if that watch is like that or is on the wrong position, but I would say it's definitely flipped in a nonsense way, Dhalai lama flipped the watches because he wore them like that to avoid them being identified and because he wore them on the inner side of the arm so a simple arm movement and the watch can be read easily.
