I hope so dude. However, currently, the appreciation of art by the masses or the counterculture artists is not a factor in what is popular or celebrated. Notice how most people you know IRL will heavily dislike an ugly post modern statue in your town, or a stupid painting of a splatter or ugly colour?
The art world is heavily controlled by a segment of the bourgeoise. The top "modern" art buyers are nearly all Jews, as conspiratorial as that sounds, it is true. Whether they buy it out of genuine appreciation or a tax scam (oi vey, this blank painting is worth $6 million, goy) is unprovable, I imagine both occur commonly. My point is, these are the people who create the face of art, these are the people who fund artists and galleries, who fund exhibitions and, through donations or direct ownership, control the lens in which classic art is analysed in universities - they fund and lobby for more progressive, post modern art theory, and lobby to shut down or deplatform counterculture traditional artists. I went to art school and it was a joke - Freudian analysises of classical statues, dismissal of any classic works with a nude as an excuse for porn, etc. The instituions, the galleries, the academia, the prizes, the market is all firmly in the grasp of post modernists.

Also, there is a religio-spiritual motivation behind abstract post modern bullshit. Just as Muslims dislike depictions of the Prophet and other figurative works, Judaism disdains the human form and figurativism itself, and heavily dislikes Gentile ancestor worship and so called "masculine" gentile stories. I have seen so many venomous attacks by Jews on national mythology and hero tales, Freudian analyses of national heroes and formative allegories. It's disgusting. We have no chance of toppling that system and elevating the beauty, tragedy, the 3000 year old beauty of European art, veneration of form and the exploration of the human condition. Only an overthrow will change our institutions.
