Do yourself a favor and take them to a professional shoe repair to get cleaned.
Paid 75$ cad to get mine resolved (brought my own outsoles) and cleaned, and the difference is night and day. They used to be all dull and waxy. 2006 paramemes I wear for the past like five winters and whenever it rains. I love these boots.
