If you get hit punched in your head, your hair will go everywhere and you will look like a bitch. Your hair can be grabbed, pulled. Unless you tied it all up, it will get into your eyes and everywhere. Even then it can come loose. I have had both short hair and long hair, never going beyond very long medium length hair (i.e. not quite metalhead), and I had infinitely more sexual appeal with short to medium hair. Long hair has very niche appeal, and the sort of girls who you could get with long hair can also be fucked with shorter hair, albeit you'd need to have to fill in some other niche. Most guys, especially average guys, look gay with long hair. Chads will still look Chad, but there's something undeniably effete about the whole thing. Ideal of course is medium length hair. Short hair might not fit your head or style, but medium length hair will fit most styles, look fashionable, not minimise your sexual appeal and not make you look like a bitch. Why this matters? You look like a fag and you are hurting your dating chances. Unless you're actually gay, in that case it's actually a bonus. It also gets in the way of any real activity... running, cycling, climbing, being in a windswept alley when hiking, etc.
