this is an example of what a trailrunner should look like. if the design is generally the same, your feet fit it well, and the tread pattern/material is good any brand is fine. there are so many choices.

the 5 and 6 in particular grip better than any boot i've owned, even sometimes in ice i don't bother with the microspikes on them. i do a lot of high altitude winter backpacking. haven't tried the 9 or 10 yet, not as sure about them. wish i could buy deadstock of the older ones for life.
