Ever since I got out of the military, I've been trying to grow my hair out to get (pic related) haircut.
It's been exactly 14 barbers, and not one got even close. Of those 14 cuts, 6 of the barbers literally said, halfway through the cut, "hey man I'm so sorry no charge for this" because they fucked it up so bad. 4 of the cuts were so bad I had to borderline shave my head down to a 3 afterwards.
It's like the universe doesn't want me to have my hair the way I want it. And it's not like I'm being picky, and don't understand that everyone's hair is different. Not one person has ever even gotten close.
After finally growing it out, and showing my last barber several pictures and angles, and explaining I've been growing my hair out for this cut, the first thing he did was scissor the top down to about 3 inches and asked "so is this short enough??"
I live in Fairfax VA if anyone has a reccomendation
