i think these work, although they do it in a more understated way. not every element has to be 11/10 in your face lunarcore..i think this would work in an outfit where the sum is greater than the parts

like some of them are just wearing white chucks here. there's a utilitarian appeal about simple, kind of beat up shoes that don't seize all the attention from the flight suits they're wearing
