This place got me started on watches, but it becomes very exhausting after a while. Threads are slow, annyoning shitposters andthere is never a great amount of depth to the discussions.
I also was on watch reddit for a while, pictures are prettier and they actually discuss watches there but redditors know even less about watches than people in here and their tastes are even blander.
I can just recommend Normiegram & watchgroups on FB/telegram, you can find a group that fits your niche, meet wih people to got to e.g. vintage watch fairs & make watchfriends. A lot more fulfilling that just screming into the void of 4channel
