The first time I tried latakia was in summer. It's romantic bullshit but whenever I smoke it, I day dream about the Ottoman empire and orientalism in art. I never associate the cedar-fur scent and taste with christmas. [no xmas trees growing up]... and chili is a summer food, dammit.

The only tobacco that has a smokey flavor is Latakia. The only earthy/mushroomy flavored one is Perique. Both are spice tobaccos normally found in pipe tobacco, but native spirits produces a perique cigarette. I've never tried it, but it's an idea. I think the makers of the pictured pipe tobacco make cherry flavored cigars, but i could be wrong.
