Not who you were replying to but you must live in a flyover state because I see just as many intentional sleaze fits on young influencers as I do cringe e-boy, if not more. The e-boys now are the late adopters after the coolness left the aesthetic. It's like doing muh selvedge jeans and beard and boots in 2014. Prevalent but prescribed very played out and uncool. Sleaze will die out as it gets colder, and in the most hip and forward and influential neighborhoods are gearing up for dressing like Bronson in Death Wish and shit. Almost like 70s detective-core. I don't think that's what Dark Academia is though.
