Based on your criteria, I'd also highly recommend that you check out Dior Homme. It's a very soft, slightly sweet scent that's a bit woody, with amber and iris.My fav of all time.

Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme

YSL L'Homme

All of these are incredibly pleasing and versatile, imo. Probably reach for the Chanel the most but DH is my favourite.
