I had a insight on watches as I was thinking
There is one key feature that a swiss high end luxury brands have that cannot be replicated by shitters/casios/seikos and the like, can you guess what that is?
I will spoil it for you
They are the only watches that can accurately tell you in real time if your society is collapsing or not.
How?
Simple, if you feel at risk of being robbed/killed for wearing it, it sends a signal to you that your society is failed and you should, let's say replace your leaders
This might actually be the most valuable complication of a watch, even more so than actually telling the time.
