Well, the seller who has the Datejust also has V-series (the last one) 16600 Sea-Dweller in mint condition, so that is also a strong contender, even though it is more expensive. Oyster bracelet no matter what. I am not a fan of the jubilee, unless you are retired or a gangster.

Don't ever get an Audemars Piguet. They completely fucked me on my purchase, and the support is horrible. I have a Royal Oak Offshore with the rubber strap and rubber bezel, and they get scratched to shit so easily. So I went to my AD and tried to purchase a steel bezel and a leather strap. I was told that AP does not sell parts that weren't intended for the watch, even though they fit perfectly. I was given the option to order a new set of rubber parts, but they wanted fucking 3 thousand dollars for them. I am never buying anything from them again. The service prices are also through the roof. I may have money, but I am not an idiot.

For everyday watches, I tend to stick to Rolex. I have a 1989 GMT-II with the black and red bezel. I don't really have any other recs for everyday. I am sad to say, but I don't like the new ceramic Rolexes. They lost their subtly with the shiny bezel and the maxi dial.

For dress, I highly recommend you check out Urban Jürgensen. They are not very well known, but their movements, fit and finish is a league above both A. Lange and Patek.
