What should I know about buying a watch from an AD?

I've only ever bought online but I'm buying a shitter that's approx $6000 and fakes of it are rife so I'm wanting to go AD. I've been told by the AD they wont do a discount unless I buy the one from the store that everyone's had their grubby hands on, should I be worried about buying a "new" watch that's basically ex display?

Also how autistic is it to go around multiple ADs until you find a watch with perfect QC? I've noticed even on $5000+ watches they sometimes have a small nick in one of the hands or imperfect printing in the numbers of the ceramic bezel. Is it even more autistic to request goodies to go along with my purchase like accessories related to the brand (gloves, a pouch)?
