Why do people always complain about the way someone is standing and just completely avoid any commentary on the clothes whatsoever?

You should probably tuck in that white tee, and choose a color of sock that works with the shoe. Lose the white ones. Consider lacing your shoes in a cleaner fashion or hiding the knot altogether. The idea is that you want the entire pants/sock/shoe area to be a cleaner line. A flash of white in the socks trips up the eye. Sloppy dark laces drooping over white soles does the same. Aim for cleaner lines down there.
I feel like your top is too wide at the waist for those pants, but that might just be the flash of white in your tee exaggerating the effect, I don't know. Either way, I'd suggest a closer fitting top in a different color, maybe grey or some tan/light brown shade. A pale olive would work, too.
In the future, put your light source behind your camera and use the timer , if you can. And rotate your pics.
