No need to cope. Putting time and effort into obtaining the watches you really want is part of the fun of watch collecting.

Alright lads, SOTC time. My cozy 4-watch TF collection. I've been working on assembling it for the past couple of months. The theme of this collection is homage tool watches. All have at least 100m of water resistance (with screw-down crowns) and magnetic resistance to 20,000 A/m (250 gauss).

- Precista Mission Timer: Use it daily at work. ETA quartz movement, always ready to pick up and go. The black DLC coating is insanely durable, I swear it still looks brand new. The best feature is the center minutes chronograph hand. Extremely legible. Use it all the time. Design based on Sinn NaBo 17 cockpit clock.
- Baby Dreadnought: 300m WR. It's my casual, running errands everyday watch. Absolutely love the dial and handset. This watch is not really an homage, but it sort of looks like a baby Ploprof and that's really damn cool.
- Smiths Everest Expedition: My outdoors activities field watch. I really dig the historical significance of the original Smiths A454 this watch is based on.
- Smiths Trans-global: Has the specs of a tool watch, but fulfills the role of dress watch in the collection. The UG Polerouter is such an amazingly cool and unique design. As Caseback Tim once said, the best vintage watch is a brand new vintage watch.
