What is the difference between the $475 pairs that Maison Margiela sells and the $50 ones I'm seeing on Grailed and Ebay?

Is there any difference? The ones that cost 475 bones look pretty much the same as the cheap ones.

All of the above come into play. That said, a pair of well worn OG german army trainers looks fine for their price. Pic related is Dior Homme vs. MMM Gat vs. OG Gat. Shame they didnt compared the white/ecru MMM to the rest but you get the point.
