I'm not denying the banning of people with any tattoos is still the norm, I just can't remember ever seeing any complaints at all from the actual Japanese about people with oriental style work. So either they do it amongst themselves (although I've had work by a Japanese artist and he didn't even have an opinion) or they don't care. SJW's don't count.
