why is it fair to assume that posting something that a cool man who lives in Europe made with his own hands out of elephant leather while getting a blowjob from an employee is objectively more /fa/ than red wings?

just because it's more exclusive? more expensive? has more folds in it out-of-the-box? made with more expensive materials?

or are we just assuming that a designer is obviously more serious about fashion than a large manufacturer

we take it for granted so much that Yohji is fashion, whereas red wing is not fashion; or, at least, that clearly Yohji is fashion on some kind of higher level. Maybe I don't accept that assumption.
