I agree which if why I've held off buying one. But I need a cheap daily beater and I saw this custom version which appeals to me.

I know that but the firm doing the custom work has a network of watch repairers that can do the work and get parts from Rolex. It's like the first question in their FAQ. They'll also remove the customization if you really want to at some later date.
