Just found out i’m a 9.5 on a brannock and I’ve been wearing size 8 all my life.

I'm going to drive 40 minutes to the city and walk around it at night to see what people are wearing so I can get some inspo and fit in.
But last time I did this, I ended up spending $500 AUD on an outfit from Zara, and nothing fit properly or looked good on me.
I hope I won't make that same mistake again.
I should take photos this time, but I'm a bit scared of people noticing me taking photos.
