I need some new shoes. I'm not /fa/, so I just need something practical that won't get me laughed off campus. I've been wearing the Vans on the top right for a while, but they get beat-up pretty quick and aren't really suitable for snow. I looked through several of the low- and mid-tier brands in the sticky, but these Nikes were the only things I could find that I didn't totally dislike. I'm also considering the all-black Vans for the warmer months.

Is any of this shit acceptable? I'm not really of fan of the branding, but that seems kind of hard to avoid with sneakers. As you can probably tell, I don't like non-black shoes, but a little white is okay. I also don't care for high-tops or boots. I'm looking to keep it below $100.

I'm also looking for a good, thick hoodie. I really hate bulky coats and don't have the wardrobe or aesthetic to wear something like a peacoat. It rarely gets below 20-30 degrees Fahrenheit and I'm never outside for more than 20 minutes, so a hoodie works for me. I haven't really looked too much into this, but any recommendations would be appreciated; I'm sure anything is better than my $20 Wal-Mart hoodie.
