Not sure if this is the right board for this, please redirect me if it's not.

I've finally got a place of my own and I'll be moving into it in a couple of months. I'm into really traditional country house style interiors but would like some ideas as to how I could spice the aesthetic up just a little. I like the "crowded" feel but that will come with time as trinkets accumulate organically.

I have a relatively large living space with a fireplace, and dining area which bleeds into a small open plan kitchen. There is also a small hall in the area that opens out into the bedrooms.

Pic related and the two below are examples of the "trad" style I grew up around and would like to take as a starting point to tweak. Thanks in advance for any tips.
